News From the Farm – October 10, 2014

We are looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow – both at the market AND at the Harvest Party! Below are details on the party and driving directions. Hope to see you there.

A few other bits of news…

Eggs for Sale – Eggs will finally be returning to the market! Huzzah! We will have several dozen available this weekend at $3.00/dozen. They are pastured, happy chickens. If interested, please bring cash or check.

Cheese Available! – After several people expressed interest in wanting to purchase cheese, we have found a local source that offers, prize-winning artisan cheese in Cleveland, Wis.: Saxon Creamery. This Saturday, we will be offering FREE samples, with descriptions and the prices of available cheeses. Anyone interested, we ask that you place orders by next Saturday (Oct 18th) at 6pm.

Harvest Party – Oct. 11th – 3pm
Just a friendly reminder our Harvest Party is tomorrow! We’ll start at 3pm and ask everyone to bring a chair to sit in and a dish to share. We plan on doing a cider pressing and offering caramel apples. Additionally, we’ll have games for the kids, a bonfire outside to keep warm and a hayride. Another novelty we’ll have is a smoothie bike. Apparently it is a blender that is powered by pedaling on a bike…come check it out and make your own smoothie! There will also be some limited carving pumpkins available as well as Indian corn and corn stalks for you to take for fall decoration!

Farm Address: N9565 Turba Ct., Elkhart Lake, WI 53020
