News From the Farm – Oct 11

We hope that we will get the opportunity to see many of you at the Harvest Party tomorrow evening. Bring your family and a dish to pass and get ready for some fun! Some of you asked if you can pick up your vegetables at the farm tomorrow. Unfortunately we will not have the market at the farm on Saturday. We want to be able to be good hosts and enjoy the party with you all and, to be honest, running the market would be too much for us to juggle all in one evening. So…for those of you who do come to the harvest party we’ll just end up seeing you twice on Saturday.

We are beginning to take orders for winter shares…contact us for more details!

While our regular share season will come to an end near the beginning of November, we always plant extra storage veggies for a one time winter share delivery in December. The storage share averages 40-50lbs and has Beets, Carrots, Cabbage, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Onions, Popcorn, Winter Squash, Oranges (Florida grown organic), Eggs, and possible a few other items. The cost is $50 for the share and it will be delivered to your home. Please consider the share and let us know as soon as possible how many you would like.
